History

Boost in oversea projects

While successfully developing Tanzania’s e-customs administration system (TANCIS), we steadily conducted overseas consulting and system implementation projects in multiple countries. Our most recent achievement was the signing of an e-Single Window system development contract with Ethiopian Revenues and Customs Authority (ERCA) in the beginning of 2017.

Acknowledged as a customs expert world wide

While being designated as the sole UNI-PASS system service provider by Korean Customs Law, CUPIA developed Ecuador’s customs administration system (ECUAPASS) and their single window system (VUE). It was during this time that our expertise was noticed both nationally and internationally.

Establishing the foundation for a leap forward

As the main service provider of the UNI-PASS system, CUPIA participated in various KCS system projects, while taking part in the development of the Risk Management system and Customs Data Warehouse in Guatemala.

The beginning

CUPIA was established in 2006 with the objective of introducing UNI-PASS system around the globe and to contribute in advancement of global customs administrations. As a service provider our main responsibility was the operation and maintenance of the Korean e-Customs system (UNI-PASS). In the following years, we started providing consulting services overseas in countries such as the Dominican Republic (BPR/ISP), Nepal and Kenya (Feasibility Study).
