Yoon-shik Kim, Chairman of CUPIA, and Stefan Bogoev, Director General of CARNM, are signing an MOU
The Customs Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia (CARNM) and the Customs UNI-PASS International Agency (CUPIA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on November 7th, 2023 at the CUPIA Tower Headquarters in Seoul, Korea. The MOU aims to share the knowledge, technology, and experience for the customs modernization and digitization of CARNM and to support the capacity building of CARNM officers.
The CARNM delegation visited Korea as part of the project ‘Implementation of Risk Management and Customs Data Warehouse’, which is supported by the Korea Customs Service with ODA funds.
CUPIA is officially in charge of the operation and maintenance of the UNI-PASS system of Korea and is a leader in the dissemination of customs management and single window solutions for customs authorities around the world.
The MOU will pave the way for future cooperation between the two agencies.
