On December 19, 2024, CUPIA collaborated with FIRST Association, the nonprofit organization in Madagascar to carry out a Christmas outreach activity for the homeless in downtown Antananarivo. This initiative was part of CUPIA’s ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility and its mission to bring warmth and hope to vulnerable communities.
Thanks to CUPIA’s support, 280 gift packages (costing 18,000 Ariary each) were prepared. With additional contributions from other donors, the total number of packages distributed increased to 350, allowing more individuals to benefit from the initiative. The packages included essential daily items as well as special items to celebrate the Christmas season, providing practical assistance to those in need.
Notably, CUPIA’s involvement extended beyond financial support, as employees actively participated on-site, adding a personal touch to the event. They engaged with the homeless, offering both comfort and compassion. This heartfelt engagement deeply resonated with everyone involved. Thierry José Razafindrainony, President of FIRST Association, expressed his gratitude, stating, “CUPIA’s genuine involvement went beyond mere financial support, creating special moments of connection and hope for everyone they reached out to”.
This Initiative marked the first collaboration between CUPIA and FIRST Association. Both organization have committed to building a sustainable partnership to support underprivileged communities through various future projects. FIRST Association’s belief that “Tomorrow is built today”, combined with CUPIA’s commitment to responsible management, turned this Christmas outreach into more than just a charitable event—it became a catalyst for meaningful change.
CUPIA remains dedicated to fulfilling its global corporate social responsibility by bringing hope and support to communities around the world.
