Ethiopia hosted the 1st meeting of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) technical working group on Electronic Single Window (ESW), in Addis Ababa, July 19, 2022, according to the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration.
The presentation from Ethiopia was also supported by a demo focused on the existing operational systems that include Integrated Risk Management System, Service Level Agreement System, Issue Tracking System, and Data Warehousing Solution which aimed at facilitating the international trade though the implementation of Electronic Single Window.
The Participants commended the progress made by the EESW which can also be one of the best practices to be shared with other Member States particularly who are in process of developing their national single window.
