Operation & Maintenance

System operation and maintenance is another service that we provide if requested. After implementing the e-customs solution, our experts operate and maintain the system and the respective equipment (Hardware and software). As a designated operator of the Korean UNI-PASS system for more than a decade, we have accumulated the experience and know-how to provide a stable and uninterrupted service 24/7, 365 days a year.

The customs administration system is an important national infrastructure in supporting international trade and ensuring revenue collection. So, if a system failure occurs, the interrupted service will account for unimaginable loss for both the public (loss of revenue) and private (raised logistics costs) sector.

In case of the Korean UNI-PASS system, CUPIA was designated as the sole UNI-PASS system service provider by customs law and currently we have teams for the operation and maintenance. They all share the role of operating and maintain their designated sub-system along with their own unique roles and responsibilities.
